It is hard to explain how "mathematics AND statistics" as a unit redirects to formal science. It is not a discipline and leads to confusion with mathematical statistics. Limit-theorem (talk) 00:53, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is the result of an WP:RFD redirects for discussion closure on 5 October 2023. To change the redirect, you need to file a new RFD or go to WP:DRV discussion review, since it was a formal consensus making procedure that resulted in this outcome. Blanking pages will result in reversion as can be seen by [1] ; and changing the redirect without a new discussion at either RFD or DRV will also result in a reversion by some patrolling editors for circumventing consensus.
