Wikilink undercard to [[Card (sports) for non-wrestling readers
"and primarily fought against fellow Young Lion Teruaki Kanemitsu." - shouldn't Young Lion have quotation marks for consistency's sake?
"in a six man tag team match." - six-man
Also it would be benefical to wikilink tag team to aid those unfamiliar with wrestling
"On April 22, 2016 Kawato won his first singles when he defeated Shota Umino." - it would help to state to clarify it was a singles match that Kawato won
"Kawato and Yoshitatsu defeated Kitamura and Oka in the dark match of the 2017 Wrestling Dontaku major show, but still did not work on the televised portion of the show."- The two references attach to this do not mention it was a dark match nor it was not televised. Another source is required to verify that portion of information.
Reference 8 should be moved to the end of the second paragraph and the note be moved to after the period of its second to last sentence
"where NJPW and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) from Mexico co-promoted a number of shows in Japan." - better; Mexican-based Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
"While he was working for CMLL, they also allowed Kawato San to work" - Try and use an alternative word other than "work" twice to avoid close reptition of that word
"He was also invited to participate in the 2018 Leyenda de Plata ("Silver Legend") tournament, one of CMLL's most prestigious tournaments." - try to avoid close reptition of the word "tournament(s)"
"Over the summer Kawato San and Audaz" - Please don't refer to seasons per MOS:SEASON
"The following week, on June 30 , 2019," - unneeded space between the second comma and "2019"
"On November 6, 2019 it was announced" - It was announced on November 6, 2019
"after recovering from a knee injury" - from his
"At that point it was also announced that they had stripped Kawato of the CMLL World Lightweight Championship due to the injury." - better and more concise; Kawato was stripped of the CMLL World Lightweight Championship because of the injury.
"Over the winter Kawato San and Dulce Gardenia became involved in a storyline feud in CMLL," - same issue as the third query in this section
"Kawato and Gardenia both finally agreed to "bet" their hair." - better; {{xt|Both Kawato and Gardenia agreed to "bet" their hair."
"Over the winter Kawato San and Dulce Gardenia became involved in a storyline feud in CMLL, leading to several Lucha de Apuestas ("Bet match") challenges between the two. Kawato and Gardenia both finally agreed to "bet" their hair." - This whole portion of text will need a reliable reference since the MedioTiempo source does not mention it
The link and title of Reference 5 should be changed to 2016 for better verification on Kawato's first singles match victory
Since Reference 16 is a tweet, it should be reformatted to comply with Template:Cite tweet
Reference 21 will require archiving or replacing if it cannot be archived
Reference 31 is linked to the wrong page. It should be directed to [1] and the refs name should be changed accordingly
Overall the main issues concering how the prose is presented and some portions of text are not verified because they are not attached to the correct reference or not at all. Will put on hold for the time being. MWright96(talk)14:37, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MWright96 I believe I have addressed all issues except one. I am going to look for sources for "Over the winter Kawato San and Dulce Gardenia became involved in a storyline feud in CMLL, leading to several Lucha de Apuestas ("Bet match") challenges between the two. Kawato and Gardenia both finally agreed to "bet" their hair." which I believe is the last missing fix?? MPJ-DK (talk) 21:53, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
