Translate?
[edit]Is anyone capable of translating this post-modernese gobblygook into standard English? "Many urban entities, both solid and metaphysical, are geo-televisual because, no matter how quotidian, no matter how integral to the city itself as an historical formation, they cannot be named in a communitarian vernacular: Marine Drive (G.P. Sippy, 1955) (other films...)" Hidden inside that impenetrable jargon may be some commentary useful for this article... maybe? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:56, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
Potential source
[edit]the snippet view does not provide enough context for me to use. Does someone have full access to the work to be able to place "poor films"[1] into context. Is it "poor" overall or given the content that follows "poor return on finances"? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:43, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
