Possible Translation
[edit]Roughly translated, I think, this page says Marigje Degrande (born August 7th, 1992) is a Belgian chess champion from Brugge, West-Vlaanderen.
Speedy deletion
[edit]This article started out as two sentences in Dutch, with a link to a roughly similar page in the Breton-language Wikipedia. The first sentence is the same as it was, describing a 16-year-old chess player from Belgium who won some unidentified game. The second sentence is what bothers me, and makes me suspect that the whole thing is non-notable in the first place. The second sentence was a verbal attack on another chess player, accusing that person of being a stalker. An anonymous user deleted that sentence before the article was machine-translated into English. This person is referenced on Belgian Chess Championship, but without more, I don't think that is notable enough for an encyclopedia article. See how many red links there are on Belgian Chess Championship - there has to be a reason there are no articles behind them. Cbdorsett (talk) 03:29, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
