Confusing sentence fragment
[edit]Under the heading "Art collection and its restitution" the first sentence reads (in part) "Marianne Schmidl is remembered today...because...she was the original owner of many drawings by the brothers Olivier and Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld could be made out" (emphasis added). This is confusingly written because "...could be made out" appears to be fragmentary. What was it that "could be made out"? Ownership? Attribution? Can anyone re-write it so that it is more intelligible? Thanks.
