Name Change

CommonName
[edit]I can see stylization misused frequently. Let's look at the claim that the stylized name as its WP:COMMONNAME.

- Thanks user:Bring back Daz Sampson for finding these sources. So to address of your question as to why I am addressing this here rather than at Solo's article is because it seems to be an overall problem and this is the correct place to discuss it.
- As for the sources: many of them appear to be press releases as they have no author or byline, but there are enough with attributions that it seems to have been common.
- All of the sources use sentence case. When the team name starts a sentence, it is capitalized. That means that in an infobox, it should be capitalized and when it's at the start of a sentence it should be capitalized. Mid-sentence, lower case seems to be attested. - I think it should follow the same rules as eBay, iPod etc. etc. And ultimately the name of the soccer team was inherited from the name of the oft-derided dongle, so that article should be the forum for any challenge to the established consensus. The fact that you edit-warred this nonsense at Hope Solo instead of any other magicJack players suggests that you still have some unresolved WP:NPV and WP:OWN issues there. Similar to when you bizarrely tried to downgrade her WP:Footy importance rating because you proclaimed her "déclassé"! 08:33, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
