I've revised ratings to start here – also importance to mid in fashion – after infilling the article and providing more background. I think from the material I've gathered Madge Garland was much more important to the fashion industry than is widely appreciated – a revision might be taking place as the Royal College of Art took possession of some of her papers last year that may bring more material forward. I intend to gather a few more refs and check the piece again to improve. I think the LGBT tag looks to be appropriate from the source material I've gathered. Wonderful work. I wouldn't think an LGBT tag was appropriate just because her husband was gay, that would be a bit tenuous. Are you saying she was gay? If so I think it should be in the article. Philafrenzy (talk) 19:32, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
