Who's Jimmy?

[edit]

The article makes two unsubstantiated references to a character called Jimmy, who is not mentioned anywhere else. Furthermore, the IMDB article does not credit anyone playing a character named Jimmy in this article. Is this vandalism? Ninebucks 14:52, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Is something missing? The plot section talks about the football players pulling the worst prank ever on Lucas in the shower, but doesn't say what it was. Also, that section uses the word "budding" twice, which seems like once too many. How about a synonym? 74.190.141.131 (talk) 01:13, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i have changed one of the 'budding' terms to 'growing'. What do you think should be included about the 'worst prank'. in which he had muscle heat put down his pants? Monkeymanman (talk) 08:46, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ebert's description

[edit]

Even if Roger Ebert did say the movie is "about teenagers who are looking how to be good with each other," it's doubtful whether his comment is worth quoting, as it's not even grammatical. Mucketymuck (talk) 03:28, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie Sheen rape allegations by Corey Feldman

[edit]

Corey Feldman alleges his good friend Corey Haim told him that 20 year old Charlie Sheen raped Haim (then 13 years old) anally on the set of Lucas using Crisco oil as lubricant. This public allegation has been denied by Sheen and refuted by Haim's mother and sister. [1]. Former actor and radio talk show performer Dominick Brascia also accused Sheen of raping Haim. Haim's mother Judy went on Dr. Oz show and refuted Brascia's claims and said that Brascia was Haim's real rapist. Should this very public allegation and refutation be in the article?[2]— Preceding unsigned comment added by Vivaldi (talkcontribs) 12:45, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, it doesn't belong here on an article about the film. That would be WP:UNDUE with potential WP:BLP issues. If it goes anywhere, it should be in their respective articles, if it's not already. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 15:30, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
