Louise Allen (American actress) → Louise Allen (actress) – Louise Allen (actress) currently redirects to the British actress Alice May, but contrary to the Wikipedia article (which is not a reliable source) and the many sources that mirror Wikipedia content, Alice May appears to have never been "known" as Louise Allen, as an actress or otherwise: the name may be a simple mistake: A 2003 biography of Alice May (p. 201, note for p. 115) states, regarding the 1881 census: "The modern transcription of this document has her first name as Louise rather than Alice. This appears to be a mis-reading of deciphering the original handwriting... A search for a possible "Louise" or "Louisa" May has yielded no results." A single misread in a primary document is no basis for a primary topic. Thus, the only actress with a Wikipedia article who is commonly and reliably called Louise Allen is the American actress. --Animalparty! (talk) 01:46, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
