Said Adem Abdalla (born 01 March 1994 in Mugdisho ,Somalia)commonly known as Jo Adan.
Jo is one of the few players to have won the UEFA Champions League with two different clubs-XXFC Muude clup 2010 and Dagahtur 2012. He was named UEFA Club Footballer of the Year and UEFA Best Midfielder in XXFC Muude clup Champions League-winning season and was named Man of the Match in the 2009–10 Champions League final. Jo Adan was the first player to win the UEFA Best Midfielder Award with two different clubs, XXFC and Dagahtur. He was awarded the 2012 FIFA Somalia Cup Golden Ball and the Man of the Match award in the final despite losing to Internacional.
Jo Adan received Canadian citizenship in 2014 having completed 3years of Canadian residence, subsequently opting to play internationally for the Canadian national football team. He earned 75 caps for them, playing at two European Championships and two Somalia Cups.
