Official sources reporting that The Black Parade album will be played in its entirety?

Obviously, this article refers to an event which will take place in the future, and ideally there will be more information about the tour will be published closer to the actual performance dates. I say this to acknowledge that spending time and effort on improving this article may not be worthwhile until performances begin.

That being said, both this article and the larger My Chemical Romance article currently report that The Black Parade album will be performed in its entirety, respectively stating "During the tour, My Chemical Romance is set to perform the entirety of The Black Parade..." and "... in which they are set to perform The Black Parade in its entirety."

On the tour article, the cited sources for the claim include Vice, Consequence of Sound, and Associated Press. On the My Chemical Romance article, the cited source is from NME.There are other sources that have cited each other (Vice cited Spin) but on for brevity's sake, moving on.

My ask is essentially: has there been a public notice from official My Chemical Romance channels (or Warner Music) confirming that to be true? It can certainly be assumed that the album will in fact be played in full at these shows, but in my review of the current sources cited on these articles, there doesn't appear to be any direct links to an official band/company/legal publication, seemingly only speculation based on the inclusion of "The Black Parade" within the official name of the tour.

If no official source is located, could a small edit be made to this article (and maybe the general My Chemical Romance article) to state that it's thus far /assumed/ but not confirmed that The Black Parade will be played in full?

Pretty sure we need to stick to the sources provided on what the band is set to perform during the tour, as most of them are trusted sources per WP:RSPSS. In my honest view, I don't think anything really needs to change. HorrorLover555 (talk) 04:46, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
