Log Horizon Guild.
[edit]Can you reference a source which >exactly< states that a guild called Log Horizon exists? Since this also involves the main characters—if this plot mechanism was not established at the start of the series then it shouldn't be here, though I havent't been focusing much on this series. Also the WikiProject consensus is that there needs to be a section listing the Main Characters; if this means renaming it from something else then so be it. —KirtZMessage 09:35, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- The light novels. And yeah though this isn't exactly a reliable source, here is Log Horizon's Japanese Wikipedia page. Freezingfield (talk) 09:44, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- I mean like somewhere exactly in the novels or another notable source where the characters/or author actually says something like, "Lets form a guild called "Log Horizon" since we already spend all our time together." or maybe another character mentions it. I've been having a hard time believing that this guild exists (See edit history) when I've seen no sort of formal agreement in the series, sort of like everyone just accepts it as a way to group the characters. Especially since Shiroe keeps going on about how he dislikes guilds. Maybe its just my precisive nature at work and I might just be over-thinking things. —KirtZMessage 09:56, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
- It's not that far off from where the anime currently is. Quoting from the Japanese Wikipedia "間関係による束縛を嫌ってギルドに所属することを避けていたが、「大災害」での出来事を経て直継、アカツキ、にゃん太とともにギルド「記録の地平線(ログ・ホライズン)」を設立、そのギルドマスターとなる。" Shiroe indeed hated forming guilds at first but formed it anyway, Shiroe is the guild master even. - Good enough, I guess. —KirtZMessage 10:08, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Quick assessments
[edit]- Nihongo Lead=yes?
- No text to introduce novel section? This is why I failed B3.
- Keep the infobox simple and general reader friendly. I'm referring to the published online and paper thing.
- Consider keeping only the most notable adaptions on the infobox, so exclude the low profile manga adaptions.
- "Log Horizon Season 1" I don't think that's what the first anime adaption's name is.
- Not an issue but why are the tables kept at 70%? It looks fine on default zoom but on the zoom I edit at ([1] remove when link is dead).
- Consider turning some of those tables into prose. It's something I do for low profile adaptions that don't need summaries. (Tales of Graces) Else, you can always transfer the tables to a chapter list if they have enough content to warrant one.
- Since this series is new, try finding better sources than amazon.

Novel titles
[edit]8th novel's english title should be "The Skylarks Stretch Their Wings" (lit. "Skylarks' Wing Flapping"). A "hibari" is a skylark, a sparrow would be "suzume".
