Ogiso are a fairytale, not history, it is a fraud to write this on wikipedia and claim it to be history. I encourage you to take a look at a definition of the word history. igodomigodo, oranmiyan, ogiso, oduduwa are fairytales like father christmass, spiderman and superman and gotham city. As an Edo, I urge you to stop writing these trash and confusing kids and gullible adults about the history of my people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Efosa1987 (talkcontribs) 01:50, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot comment on the factual matter but I am certain that the dates in this list (credited to self-published lulu.com book) are incorrect - by almost a millenium. Sources typically date the emergence of the first dynasty to 900s BC ([1] etc.), not the "40 BCE - 16 CE" as in the list. Take a closer look at it, there are many guys who ruled for half a century each. Can anyone recall a real monarchy were kings lived just as long? Why would Benin be different? The numbers look like made-up, pure fiction. Retired electrician (talk) 17:01, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
