... a bit about this article. Wikipedia isn't a genealogy or a list but if this article exists it either has to include everyone or just the living members of this house. Seven Letters 16:30, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The problem described above persists: the article fails to be a "List of members of the House of Oldenburg" by excluding females, excluding dynasts of the Gottorp branch, while including morganatic descendants who are not members of the Oldenburg dynasty. Peculiar selectivity, which makes the name of the article inaccurate and inappropriate. FactStraight (talk) 02:12, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
