Trucks aren't guns

On the New Orleans shooting section, the numbers and the description doesn't align.

Okay, so on the dead-injured-total section of the New Orleans shooting, the numbers are just 2, 5 and 7 respectively despite the description contradicting this by saying that thirteen people were killed in the New Orleans shooting and dozens more injured. Can someone find a source that actual tells how many people were injured and update this misalignment? Languagelover3000 (talk) 13:32, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The description notes casualties caused by the truck attack, but we only count casualties caused by firearm. The text in bold is about the casualties that are tracked on this list. If you can write it better without removing a lot of context, go ahead.

"The man killed thirteen people and injured several dozen others with the truck before he crashed into a crane, after which he exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking two police officers and at least six other people, including one person who was killed, before he was fatally shot by police."
