Inclusion

[edit]
  • I think it is important for this list that we restrict it solely to grime artists, as per the description here. I have removed Skinnyman and Jehst, artists who obviously fall under UK hip-hop rather than grime, but I lack the knowledge required of every act on the list, please help remove acts who make urban music without making grime. Listcruft

[edit]

Here we go again, this page already grew to ridiculous proportions in the past. The vast majority of the links were red and for very non-notable artists... the only pages that came up mentionning many of those artists, when googled, were wiki pages. Needless to say, the old page was nominated for deletion and got a unanimous vote to be deleted. It's only a matter of time until the same thing happens here. May I suggest we create a category instead: Grime artists and simply add it to artists who already have a wiki page. --Blahm 13:00, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would support that, I mean in theory i think there should be a list of grime artists in the same way as there is a list for most genres, but in practice there is no easy way for us to determine whether these additions are useful or vanity. Proceed however you proceed, I will support the category. Jdcooper 13:20, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The category has been created with a few names added. I'll wait a bit and see what other people's thoughts are, but otherwise, I don't think there's anyproblem in redirecting to a Category. --Blahm 14:17, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
