Pinging few people here.

I'd like to discuss my concerns about the article on "Hindu-Muslim conflicts." In my opinion, the article seems unnecessary as there are already numerous resources covering historical conflicts between these communities. Currently, the article lacks descriptive content, providing only a table with details on belligerents, dates, and results. This approach seems inadequate for such a sensitive topic that holds significant global importance.
Recently, I've noticed various groups on social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc., creating edit videos that celebrate communal, regional, or ethnic conflicts. Some of these edits have made their way to Wikipedia through talk page comments. I fear that if we don't address the content of this article, it could lead to ongoing edit wars. Moreover, the title itself may contribute to sparking communal tensions.
I find it surprising and concerning to encounter an article presented in this manner. If my perspective is misguided, I am open to being corrected and apologize for any inconvenience. I encourage others to share their thoughts on this matter.Imperial[AFCND]18:31, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I find this list worrying as well. I'm not a topic expert but it doesn't take a topic expert to look at this list and think this is a poor way of dealing with a sensitive issue. I went looking for an example of how other similarly sensitive issues have been dealt with as lists on Wikipedia and came across List of wars involving Israel. That article appears to me both more informative and less designed to be inflammatory. Crucially, it also has a different scope: it's about wars involving a particular state. For that sort of thing in India, we already have, for example, List of wars involving the Mughal Empire. I think this should probably go to AfD for a broader consensus. I'd wait for someone who's done more milhist articles in contentious topic areas to weigh in, though. -- asilvering (talk) 22:20, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not an editor but when did chandelas became a vassal of muslims? The confrontation between chandelas and muslims happened but it was indecisive according to every source available including the main articles available on Wikipedia itself, the siege of kalinjar by muslims wasn't successful as the muslims returned with elephants and gave forts in return to chandelas, anyone can check any historical source available, the whole article is filled with misinformation, kindly correct it. 117.219.165.72 (talk) 23:09, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
