@Caorongjin You moved the page from Dean of Stanford Law School to Lists of Deans of Stanford Law School. I don't believe the new page name is appropriate, considering that the page is about an office, rather than simply a list itself — this is partly so that pages like John Hart Ely or Larry Kramer can directly link. In addition, the page already has a section titled List of Deans of Stanford Law School, and with the name "Lists of Deans of Stanford Law School" the list of executives does not fit so nicely. Is it possible if you could move it back to the original name? GuardianH (talk) 16:03, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@GuardianH, hi there. First, I should say I realize in hindsight that I meant to move the page to List of deans of Stanford Law School (as opposed to plural Lists), and have updated that typo. The reason I moved it is it seems like the main purpose of the page is to list Deans or their predecessors, the Executives, as opposed to being a notable article about the office itself. I was following the precedence set for other law school deans, such as the move by @Woko Sapien of List of deans of Columbia Law School. —Caorongjin💬22:11, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have no opinion on moving this article (fine with me either way). But I'll just point out that move I made was to bring the page into compliance with MOS:JOBTITLES, from List of Deans of Columbia Law School to List of deans of Columbia Law School. It was already a list article. --Woko Sapien (talk) 02:44, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
