ALF Female Activist
[edit]Deleted "ripped her face off and ripped out some of her organs" since the activist is only ever bitten and there is no face-ripping off or organs getting torn out. Fenomenal 17:47, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Stone's death
[edit]again, how can you assume that Stone was killed? he was in the basement of the command center, behind a huge metal door.Roguejackbauer 21:09, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Ordering/insignificant characters
[edit]This page is way too long winded, how about splitting the two films rather than having them all bunched together. Also, I feel there is only a need for the main characters of the film who bear some importance to the plot, not for every single character listed in the credits. Le.Kwyjibo 16:54, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Sam
[edit]Is there any proof that the man that lets Andy into the shelter, and who later dies being tossed from the helicopter into the infected, is actually Sam from the house? At no point do I remember hearing his name mentioned and even if he was called Sam there is no proof that it is the same man. VanRedd 18:53, 07 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think he might have been called Jacob or Jakob. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 16:48, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
That's the guy who tried to escape on a motorboat with Don you're thinking of, Demiurge1000. And in answer to your question, VanRedd, Karen said twice at the start of the film before she got infected "Sam!", so it's either the same man, or another one with the same name. 2.100.53.51 (talk) 18:26, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Cleanup
[edit]Guys, I know you like the movies, but sheesh. This list is way too detailed, redundant, and too long. There's more of the plot of the movies explained here than there is in the actual relevant articles. Slac speak up! 22:33, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Agreed 100%, there's way too many bit-part characters referenced here, and some of the entries read like a plot synopsis (Especially Jim's). And do a load of nothing characters that have about two forgettable lines apiece before they're ripped apart by zombies deserve a 200+ word entry in this list? Cut the fat. Daigo 14:32, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Subbed down to a paragraph each, also evaporated the cruft articles this was spawning. Now I'm going to warn the author, yet again, to stop the tide of cruft. ➔ This is REDVEЯS 10:23, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Possible error in reporting
[edit]Another reading of the second movie suggests that Alice did not forgive Don - instead, she infected him deliberately through kissing. There's also the strong suggestion that Andy, now carrying the virus but asymptomatic due to genetics, was the vector by which the virus entered Europe. Tammy, by putting her loyalty to her brother above the cold hard logic of the military, managed to doom a continent.
I know Don left Alice to die, but she clearly isn't a murderous, vengeful person. Plus, her reaction when she watched Don become infected would suggest that she wasn't expectng that at all, and therefore was unaware that she was a carrier. Also, while it's very likely in my personal opinion that it was through Andy that the Rage virus spread to mainland Europe, as far as I can tell, it was never confirmed and probably never will be. 2.100.53.51 (talk) 18:26, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Cleanup effort
[edit]Why does one thing have to be repeated four times? —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheMightyMeh88 (talk • contribs) 11:27, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's not one thing repeated four times, it's four things mentioned once. This article does not cite any references or sources. This article resembles a fansite. This article describes an aspect of the film in a primarily in-universe style. All or part of this article may be confusing or unclear. Four things. Your help in improving any one of these (or all) would be most appreciated. ➨ ❝ЯEDVERS❞ has nothing to declare except his jeans 07:29, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Cruft gardening
[edit]Once again, this article has reach stupendous proportions, with every spit and cough of each character, named or unnamed, being listed in Proustian detail. I've weeded the article, reducing each entry to a single sentence - that is all that is needed.

Stone's Unit
[edit]Although Stone does in fact wear a ranger tab just below it you can clearly see the 82nd Airborne insignia. Judging by the fact that every other soldier in the movie other than the Delta snipers are also wearing the 82nd patch I think it's safe to say that they are the Unit on the ground and not the "75th Airborne Ranger Battalion" that was previously listed in this article.64.231.66.185 (talk) 08:51, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

List of 28 Days/Weeks Later characters → List of 28 Days Later characters — Current name is artificial and contains the deprecated slash character unnecessarily (WP:SLASH; the manual of style applies equally to article titles WP:MOS#Article titles) . Using "28 days later" to refer to the series – as is done in the body of the article – is clearer and more in line with Wikipedia article naming conventions. Redirects can be created from the names of the other media works, e.g. List of 28 Weeks Later characters, List of 28 Days Later: The Aftermath characters.) - Alternate suggest instead List of 28 Days Later franchise characters, to distinguish from the original property that started it off. 70.24.248.23 (talk) 04:52, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- I don't prefer this over my suggestion; there's no need to distinguish from an article that does not exist; the title I suggested is sufficiently recognizable, very natural, sufficiently precise to distinguish it from other extant articles, and more concise per WP:CRITERIA. With regards to consistency, I note that List of Cars characters, List of Star Trek characters, List of Star Wars characters, List of The Fast and the Furious characters, List of Friday the 13th characters and apparently many others unashamedly use the titles of the originals that spawned the franchises – after which the francises are named – for their equivalent articles. However if others prefer the IP's suggested title, I prefer it to the current one. --MegaSloth (talk) 10:02, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
- "28 Days Later" does exist and is not the topic of the list. Those other franchises all use xyz in their subsequent works (Star Trek II, Star Trek The Next Generation; Star Wars Episode IV, Star Wars Clone Wars; Friday the 13th Part IV; Cars 2; Fast and Furious 5;) This one is "28 abc Later", so the analog is not exact. 70.24.248.23 (talk) 04:26, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry I misunderstood your original comment. If there were an article on the 28 days later franchise, it ought to be titled, 28 Days Later and the film ought to be moved to 28 Days Later (film), in common with e.g. Shrek and Shrek (film), Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider (1996 video game), Stargate and Stargate (film), Battlestar Galactica and Battlestar Galactica (1978 TV series) (many franchises and their initiating works are not a primary topic and so you get e.g. Alien (franchise) and Alien (film)). The fact that the franchise article doesn't exist (yet) shouldn't determine name choice for this article. My examples are sufficiently close in my opinion; the creators chose obviously-related titles in a slightly unusual and "clever" way. If you want irregularly named comparisons, how about: List of Jurassic Park characters, sequel novel entitled The Lost World or List of Neon Genesis Evangelion characters, movies Evangelion: Death and Rebirth etc.. Please note while I distinctly prefer my suggestion and so am arguing for it, I'm not terribly opposed to your variation. Out of 10 I would give the current name 3, yours 7 and mine 9 (I don't claim perfection ;)).--MegaSloth (talk) 10:31, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

- Support seems straightforward enough. --Peppagetlk 15:35, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Support. Certainly the slash is against WP:MOS. The intent of the present title is not clear at all. If it is all right to dispense with the inclusion of "weeks", then the proposed title is just fine. NoeticaTea? 02:35, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
