18650 battery
[edit]I recently created an article on the 18650--arguably the most important rechargeable battery size at draft:18650 battery. It was shot down :(. Should I add the 18650 into a new section on the article? JayCubby (talk) 18:37, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
- There is now a separate 18650 themed article, but it is an ugly stub:

- Why? Does every size need its own article?? It's just another battery size, it's not notable. --Wtshymanski (talk) 03:25, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- the 18650 is really, really important. If you are to take apart a lithium battery pack (laptop, Tesla, ebike, etc) you will likely find 18650s. They're a $5billion industry[1]. In response to Does every size need its own article??, I tell you that we have an article for the C battery, so why not the 18650? Enigmatic acronyms like JIS should be defined
[edit]I had to go googling, found "Japanese Industrial Standard", surely it should be defined or linked on the page somewhere? --Annihilannic (talk) 05:55, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Picture of CR123A battery is incorrect.
[edit]Picture shows a rectangular 6V battery. The CR123A is cylindrical. 73.158.200.237 (talk) 15:48, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
