Just a note, that if the 2011 section stays in future tense much longer, I will consider an FLRC for this list. Courcelles07:05, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I haven't been able to verify the defensive statistics that were added to the article. The ESPN box scores do not list tackles; I found and added Sports Reference Box Scores; these have tackle numbers for all of the bowl games, except for the 2004 Motor City Bowl. The 2022 UConn media guide does not have tackle numbers for each game but lists Maurice Lloyd as holding the record with 18 tackles in 2004, which doesn't match the 12 listed in this article. Since I can't verify who holds the defensive records, I commented out the defensive statistics. Please don't add back unless you can find a source that can verify these numbers for all of the bowl games. –Grondemar16:28, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are correct, the 2004 number should be 18 as that is the record, I found a box score on the Toledo website, fixed the numbers and added them back in with references. Sometimes assists are counted as half tackles so that seems to have been the discrepancy. Since all the other games count assists as full tackles I adjusted accordingly.
