[edit]Can me explain somebody, why such sites like tv.com say that there are 18 episodes in the first season?
For example Season 1, Episode 18 "House Party"
I can't figure out where is the truth...

- Because sites like TV.com, EpGuides.com and even IMDb.com all ultimately used information submitted by individual fans of the show. Some of those fans were better informed than others, some worse. - dcljr (talk) 09:28, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Wrong again
[edit]Sigh... yet again, we get wrong information because someone apparently just copied stuff from a website, thinking it would be correct. There is no way in hell the first episode was aired on March 1, 1991, and the final one (originally, at least) on December 3, 1994. These dates are incorrect. The first episode aired March 23, 1991 (the date listed here as being for the 2nd episode) — there is simply no credible evidence that CEIA aired before that date. Personally, I don't think anyone really knows when most of the other first-season episodes were aired, but the last episode was absolutely, positively aired on October 1, 1994, during the Big Help-A-Thon. I didn't check any other information in the article; I just didn't have the heart. Please see my comments at Talk:Clarissa Explains It All. - dcljr (talk) 09:20, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- I wholeheartedly agree, even though I am about 6 years late to this discussion. The fact that Season 1 wrapped production on June 26, 1991, yet aired magically somehow 1.5 weeks earlier on June 15, 1991 is preposterous and possibly anachronistic. Clearly that gives away how inaccurate and inconsistent the airing dates are. The pilot episode was filmed during September 17-21, 1990 (likely September 21, 1990), while some sources claim that it aired first with the pilot on March 23, 1991 and March 24, 1991. The first episode produced for Season 1 (School Picture-#102), was taped on February 27, 1991. Production code #103 (No T.V.) was taped on March 6, 1991. Season 1 episode tapings were on Wednesdays and done in 3-week blocks. Season 2's "Crush" was taped on January 8, 1992. The last episode was taped on December 17, 1993. The seasons are a mess simply and party responsible should've done better research and proof-editing.Carmaker1 (talk) 04:15, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
- I have changed all season-one dates to "unknown" except the premiere date for episode 101, which is sourced to a 17 March 1991 LA Times blurb. Editors should not add dates for any season-one episodes unless they can be cited to contemporaneous print sources (this means publications from 1991 or web archives of same). Web-sites like the IMDb, TV.com, and even Nickelodeon.com are known to have incorrect infomation about the first-season episodes. They simply cannot be trusted in this regard. - dcljr (talk) 05:48, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
