Production question
[edit]Something that has recently been brought to my attention: Were the Murakami-Wolf-Swenson episodes made before The Chipmunk Adventure? I noticed that in the "Grounded Chipmunk" episode, the foyer of the Seville house had a wooden floor, but in The Chipmunk Adventure, as well as in the DiC episodes, it had a black & white checkerboard motif.
And also, seasons 3 had 10 episodes, seasons 4 and 5 both had 8 episodes, and the MWS era had 11 episodes. All 3 seasons of the DiC era had 13 episodes, just like seasons 1 & 2. I'm guessing that the lack of episodes in seasons 3-5 was due to Bagdasarian Productions prepping the movie.
Added page about A Chipmunk Reunion
[edit]I just contributed a page for A Chipmunk Reunion right here:

Feel free to make any corrections, if needed.
I don't think it was necessary. BTW, remember to sign your posts. WikiLubber (talk) 01:34, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
What do you mean by signing my posts? Don't you mean citing my posts?
Missing scene info
[edit]Why was my information about the missing scene from "Maids in Japan" edited out? It is true.
Apparently, it was considered unnecessary. But the important question is: WHY was the scene not shown on the DVD? —Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiLubber (talk • contribs) 16:20, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Well like I said on YouTube, I hope it's not because of fears of political correctness. I saw absolutely nothing about that scene that was deemed too politically correct. Plus if it was deemed too politically correct, chances are that scene would have been cut out long ago.
By the way, that episode was also released on a VHS collection titled "Around the World With Alvin and the Chipmunks". If anyone has that tape, please confirm if that scene is intact or not.
Chipmunkmania
[edit]"Chipmunkmania" wasn't a special, it was a normal episode.
I only have parts of 2 episodes on tape, so whoever did the episode guides, THANK YOU!

Weird Phrasology
[edit]What do you make of this line from the Season 6 heading?
"The first opening sequence in this season has scenes from The Chipmunk Adventure. Later on it's something completely different". WAVY 10 16:22, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Discontinued Episodes in Syndication
[edit]Why did they stop running episodes of "Alvin and the Chipmunks" after episode 63? Did somebody or something scare too many people in the following episodes, or were they unprotected from a copyright claim? 71.90.23.222 (talk) 18:57, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wish I knew. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 19:40, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
It's because the show went into syndication while new episodes were still being made, and the never bothered to add the remaining episodes into the package when the show's run was over (the same thing also happened with Garfield and Friends and Muppet Babies.)74.76.254.95 (talk) 21:38, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
When will they ever get the remaining episodes in the syndication package? 97.104.148.10 (talk) 00:06, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone know where I can get episodes of this show in good quality? I have most of them, but there are some I still need, including "The Wall" . . . and who's got "Sploosh!" Do tell --- and thanks!!!
Yeah, I'm really mad that "Sploosh" isn't out yet. Out of curiosity, what channel did the show origanally air on? For some reason, I keep getting "Cartoon Network", but I don't know when that channel started. -Fio
First Date
[edit]Does anyone know who originally sang the key song "First date" in the episode 'Whatever Happened to David Seville"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.136.23.107 (talk) 08:04, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I think it was an original song written specifically for the show.74.76.254.95 (talk) 21:33, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
It originally aired on NBC -- then in syndication it was on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and USA, I believe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheUnmaskedNonAvenger (talk • contribs) 18:01, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Why is Unfair Science not listed as being on VHS? I know it was released because I have it at home . . .
The so-called Reused plot statement
[edit]The plot of the "The Chipettes" episode WAS NOT used in Alvin and the chipmunks the squeakquel. In this movie, the girls are already established as the chipettes and the competition (the onlly thing that was reused actually) was for the students to choose wich group would represent their school in the open-schools talent show, the chipmunks or the chipettes. That wrong statement has been deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talk • contribs) 20:59, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
