I think there are more definitions of the Liminal than those in the liminality article, but I haven't done enough research yet --naught101 06:20, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right. There are a lot of liminality links. I just got us started. A lot needs to be done. Maybe I can do some more. Feel free, anyone. This is a liminal disambig (yuk-yuk)Botteville (talk) 16:15, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Pool"

[edit]

Just a heads up or whom it concerns, that this page has now had repeated vandalism now, and might have more in the future, from social media groups (probably Facebook; see group "Liminal spaces") related to "liminal" photography and other liminal content. What they do is add references to a "pool" in this article. Greetings, RagingR2 (talk) 20:56, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Background for who is interested: an image of a cgi swimming pool that seems to create a "liminal" vibe for some people has become a meme (or a running gag if you will) in said Facebook group, and probably the most popular image that gets frequently reposted there. To the point where people see it as the definition of "liminal" imagery. And apparently they see it as funny to work the pool into the text of this article, optionally then posting screenshots of their vandalism back into that group.
