Stephanie Williams
[edit]bit crazy that the main photo on this page is of Stephanie Williams. i think this should be changed for something libyan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zalali (talk • contribs) 18:43, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
- There's nothing wrong with Williams' photo as a key facilitator, especially since she seems to be doing an excellent job. But obviously, for an intra-Libyan dialogue, it would be better to have photos of the Libyan participants, especially if these could represent the diverse socio-political components participating. Williams' photo could then be shifted to a less prominent place in the article. The most successful facilitator is one who makes him/herself useless. What would be needed would be:
- reliable sources on names of key participants (UNSMIL and the media don't seem to want to publish the names); the names should then be added to the body of the article with the refs;
- preferably these participants would be a mix from various backgrounds to avoid the impression that one group is favoured over another;
- free-licensed photos hosted at the Commons.
- I don't see much point in a group photo with no names, though that's just my personal preference.

- If a participant or observer of the LPDF makes a photo of Libyans in this Libyan-Libyan dialogue and publishes that at the Commons under a free licence, then we'll be able to use that. We can't show a photo that we don't have. Boud (talk) 00:50, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
Electoral colleges for selecting the unitary executive
[edit]Any info on the electoral colleges for selecting the unitary executive would be useful. It seems that LPDF participants know how the electoral colleges are defined or who they are, or else they would not have voted so much in favour. Boud (talk) 00:53, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
