Further, "Chicken with chillies" refers to many different dishes from different cuisines around the world. (A quick google for "chicken with chilies" yields lots of dishes that are not Làzǐjī). In Chinese, 辣子鸡 literally translates to "spicy chicken". And so because this dish has numerous names, "chicken with chilies", "firecracker chicken", "spicy chicken", "Chongqing chicken", "Sichuan spicy chicken", it's best to stick with Làzǐjī.
