[edit]Last I checked, kyzyl meant "gold", not "red". The word for red is "kyrmyz" in Turkic languages. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.31.83.26 .
Aldyn means gold and kyzyl means red in the Tuvan language. --Stacey Doljack Borsody 03:15, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
