POV?
[edit]This article lacks a bit of neutrality:
Example: "Kurtis Blow helped legitimize Hip Hop, and now, he intends to help redeem it" —Preceding unsigned comment added by KennyM1987 (talk • contribs) 23:59, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
This sentence from the ministry section also needs some work:
"Having made a deep commitment to the ways and teachings of Jesus Christ, Blow attended ministry classes at Nyack College." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oneliketadow (talk • contribs) 16:48, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Name
[edit]Does anybody know why the ASCAP list this artist as Kurt Walker? As you can see here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Labalius (talk • contribs) 01:29, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Founder of Rap Music is not this man
[edit]I beg to differ with the statement "first rapper to be published nationally". That obviously was not Kurtis Blow rather it was Grand Master Flash and I'm sure there's proof somewhere in historical records someplace on the internet. I'm not going to do that legwork. It's unnecessary.
