Lawsuits
[edit]There has been so much litigation concerning this organization in recent decades, so it's strange for none of it to appear on this page. natemup (talk) 13:01, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
Seconded
[edit]I came here to say the same! There is more detail in the biography of Bernice than here.
- What is the status of the potential sale to the National Park Service?
- Does the Center still look after the personal effects that were subject to suit because others wanted to sell them? (dated article)
- Are there pending lawsuits facing the center now?
- How is the center governed now, by whom?
- What is its relation to the King estate -- is it beholden to the estate for ongoing personality rights or trademark rights?

There is a story here
[edit]Which has not been told. The "History" section is missing huge gaps, as others have mentioned, about the sale. Struggles are a part of life, as Dr. King would be the first to acknowledge. Please, someone with access to the full story, let it be told here. Billyshiverstick (talk) 01:43, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
