Not on the list
[edit]If it's not listed, why does it have the NRHP category, template, and infobox? Clarityfiend (talk) 04:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

No indication of notability per WP:CHAIN or WP:GNG. Dai Pritchard (talk) 11:57, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
- The chain is notable based on very substantial coverage of its history and innovations (firsts). The Kewpee Restaurant in Lima, Ohio is notable as a historic landmark and for substantial coverage in reliable independent sources. As noted in the article it would be listed on the National Register of Historic Places if not for owner opposition. With or without such opposition to listing, its historical significance is undisputed. AlphaJotaZed (talk) 12:15, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
- AlphaJotaZed has been indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry. There's nothing in the references to indicate that it was ever listed in the NRHP, no substantial coverage online in WP:RS, and no indication of any historical significance. Dai Pritchard (talk) 02:44, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
Move Yes, please move the material in this article into the Kewpee article. Steelbeard1 (talk) 14:54, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
- Comment NR-listed places are notable: not because the designation qualifies them for WP:N, but because the NR's documentation requirements are greater than those of WP:N. Places that really aren't documented enough to qualify as notable have no chance at getting listed on the National Register. Part of the process of listing a place on the Register involves producing extensive documentation on the place; the NR people in Washington couldn't have known that it was eligible for listing if they hadn't first seen plenty of documentation. Nyttend (talk) 02:34, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- Comment The place isn't on the Register (by property owner request), therefore I've removed all the NRHP templates. This does not affect the level of notability in the move discussion. Generic1139 (talk) 15:20, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
