Katherine Blundell is a Gresham Professor of Astronomy suggested edit
[edit]I wanted to suggest adding that Katherine Blundell has been Professor of Astronomy at Gresham College. She was appointed in 2019 and has given several lecture series at Gresham College on Astronomy. She is listed on the Gresham Professor of Astronomy page but not on her profile page. More information about Katherine Blundell can be found here. Her lectures for Gresham College can also be viewed there.
I would like to disclose also that I work for Gresham College and am therefore suggesting this as an edit. Commsgresh (talk) 14:36, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
David Mittelman funding
[edit]This is not a submission because I lack accurate and complete information. I am surprised that Dr Blundell's entry makes no notice of the $12,000,000+/- award to Global Sky Watch, from the David Mittelman Family Foundation, to honor the memory and legacy of David Mittelman, Boston-based amateur astronomer. The award or grant includes a complete observatory located in New Mexico with a 0.95-meter reflecting telescope, 20-inch reflecting telescope, and the telescopes used in the MDW Hydrogen-Alpha Sky Survey cosponsored by Columbia University. The size of the award and the implied honor associated with it deserve recognition. 2600:6C55:4800:7A:7967:8E19:80E0:8DCD (talk) 07:12, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
