[edit]Call letters are not stations. Call letters move all over the place and sometimes are hundreds of miles away from where the station that used to use them are located. To refer to a station by frequency is correct. KLIF is just the call sign and might or might not reflect a specific format. KLIF was a music station in the 1970s. AM 570 was originally KGKO of Wichita Falls and later it moved to Fort Worth. KGKO was replaced by WFAA of Dallas and WBAP of Fort Worth for their time shared operation.
