[edit]This section isn't true: "Even Robbie Williams gave them the thumbs up when he met them on a Dutch talkshow in 2005." Williams made fun of them. He was definitely being ironic. In an interview with Belgian magazine HUMO he referred to them as "robots", alluding to their rehearsed and unnatural ("phony") spontanity.
This entry reads too much like a press release, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was entered and maintained by the "band"'s management.

[edit]It is worth noting that there was considerable objection against having a Dutch girl joining K3 and the fact she moved to Belgium soon afterwards to be more in touch with her Belgian fans? Many in Belgium would still be of the opinion that K3 lost popularity in Flanders because of it, yet gained more importance in the Netherlands.Jorgenpfhartogs (talk) 15:18, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
Quality
[edit]The quality of the article can be greatly improved by totally rewriting it, e.g. as a translation of the Dutch version (nl:K3). I'm not saying I won't do it, just that I don't have time to do it at the moment. So if someone agrees and wants to do it, please go ahead. The band has been/is such a phenomenon that it certainly deserves a proper article. Gidi70 14:02, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit]
I contest that this band needs an English Wikipedia entry. Their significance beyond the Dutch-speaking world is nihil. The entry should be removed. 81.240.83.205 23:20, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- The notability guidelines don't have their scope limited by the language of the Wikipedia. See e.g. the Wikipedia:Notability (music) guideline. To be notable, a band should meet any one of the twelve criteria mentioned there. K3 meets at least numbers 1 to 5, 10, 11 and possibly 9 and 12. Note that the criteria explicitly allow a band to be known or famous in a single country (2, 4, 11, 12). Gidi70 01:57, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Contradiction chart positions
[edit]The article says that "Heyah Mama" was at the number one spot for 16 weeks, while the singles table lists the highest chart position as 2. That can't be right. Is the first statement talking about the Vlaamse Top 10 instead of the Ultratop 50? The source of the information was the Dutch Wikipedia, so I've also asked there.
Does anybody know any good sources for highest chart positions of songs? The official Ultratop 50 site doesn't go back that far. --Gidi70 00:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
