Heartbeats
[edit]Someone told me "Heartbeats" is a cover of a song by The Knife. Or vice versa. Anyone know if this is true? Cnwb 03:51, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, it's true. --Closedmouth 07:42, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- That's actually how they came to prominence. The Knife#History --Eptin (talk) 09:33, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Concert review validity?
[edit]The link included for a review on his Chicago concert leads to a blog of a student named Scott Bolohan, who describes the blog as "I am a staff writer for The DePaulia, the student newspaper of DePaul University. These are some of the articles that I have written for the paper."
Is this a valid resource for a review? No offence to Bolohan or DePaul University, I'm just wondering if we can all link to reviews on our blogs. 91.140.22.188 09:36, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Plan B
[edit]According to Jose Gonzales himself, he's never collaborated with Plan B. His music was just illegally sampled from the british Hip Hop act. Hence: No collaboration... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.14.7.195 (talk) 14:01, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Where's the truth ?
[edit]It's strange to read here that JG was born in Chile, whereas one can read anywhere else that he was born in Göteborg (Sweden...). --Monoblepsie (talk) 23:38, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

– I don't think the singer is more important that the many other people named José González. Vivaelcelta {talk · contributions} 11:35, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
- I disagree. There are only 4 people called José González on the disambiguation page, one of which is red-linked and doesn't even have a wiki page yet, the rest are not "José González"'s! So why complicate things unnecessarily? Also, as this is English Wikipedia,I suspect most English speakers will know José González as a singer / guitarist anyway. Stephenjh (talk) 17:36, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support "José González was" "José González is" don't suggest a Swedish singer is more common than all others put together. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:33, 11 March 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia is strange...
[edit]I see SO MANY articles stating the ethnicity/regional origin of the person in question, as if it would state a nationality, but in this case José Gonzalez ist Swedish? Anyone from a million kms. can tell that Gonzales is not a very Scandinavian surname. Every year wikipedia loses more and more quality of content. And don't come with "well then you produce quality content" because we know that when quality content is produced, it gets reverted. I hope one day we see the light. Cheers.
