I contest the deletion given the article met the Notability (people) criteria given that John Hoyle has a primary role in many of Aphra Behn's writings, and aside from that, his trial for sodomy is part of LGBT History in the XVII century (People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject.)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Elisa.rolle (talk • contribs) 00:56, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Moreover there was a wrong pointing from Aphra Behn to another John Hoyle, who is not the right Hoyle, and that is confusing for researchers. It's right to have the right page with the right John Hoyle in wikimedia--Elisa.rolle (talk) 12:11, 16 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
valereee I'm not sure how much more it can be done. I removed the copyvio from the sentence of the Parliament, much of the rest of the article was touched by other users and it looks fine. I don't have access to other sources, so I suppose that's it. Please let me know it there is other I can do (read or change). Elisa.rolle (talk) 17:51, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
