The two issues noted in the comments have been fixed:
1. The candidate (John Dunning) does meet the sports notability criteria – he has been a member of college volleyball’s national Hall of Fame since 2011 (footnoted in #8 – Sports Illustrated) and shares a national record (with Russ Rose) for most coaching appearances in an NCAA Division I women’s volleyball championship match.
2. Two national sources have been added: ESPN (footnote #1) and Sports Illustrated (footnote #8).
