Darwall's 148th

The article currently has a claim that the tune 'Darwall's 148th' was first sung in 1773. While this is sourced, it is very unlikely, given that the tune was published in Aaron Williams' collection The New Universal Psalmodist in 1770 (details here). Should we remove the statement about when it was first sung, and just give the date of first publication instead, or should we give both and let readers draw their own conclusions as to whether the tune was not sung for three years after first publication?
