[edit]After Ross, I guess I have to ask. Are we sure this John Cochrane who's in the Macmillan Encyclopedia as a Chicago architect designed all these buildings in Iowa? --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 13:22, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yes i think so. Cochrane died in 1887; his design for Scott County Courthouse (Iowa), built during 1886-1888, was completed by architect John W. Ross (Iowa architect) in 1888 after Cochrane's death, corroborating Cochrane's presence in Iowa. --doncram 13:43, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
