Questioning Factual Accuracy

[edit]

I do not know how accurate this article is, which is why the content is disputed. The information should be researched and wikified to make a better encyclopedia article. --No1lakersfan 12:50, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy of Document

[edit]

I researched this document on line, and by actual visits to several libraries and archives in Pittsburgh. I also visited the cemetery where John Adams buried.

Some of the sources for this article are:

- Census Records

- Pennsylvania Historical Review, 1886

- “Pittsburgh Kerosene -1860-1900”, by Catherine M. V. Thuro, as published in “The Glass Club Bulletin”

- Remembering the Past: History of the Merging Congregations and Their Buildings First United Methodist Church (Pittsburgh, Pa) Page 26, (on line)

- Adams Glass & Company Catalog

- Advertisements for Adams Glass from old Pittsburgh newspapers.

- Allegheny County's Hundred Years, 1888, by George H. Thurston

I am new to Wikipidia, and don't 'know the ropes' as to how to provide proper documentation. Any advice on what is needed to satisfy the challange to this article would be greatly appreciated.
