Indian use of "juggi" (slum?)
[edit]It appears that the term juggi is also used in India, and appears to mean some sort of slum or slum housing. I'm unclear as to any relationship between the Indian term and this ethnic/tribal group, and don't want to risk OR, so thought I'd just mention it here.
As an example of where the word appears on GoogleBooks (lots of examples like this one): When I went downstairs and out onto the street, I was able to observe the rioters more closely. All of them were Hindu men in their twenties, most of whom appeared to be day laborers from the juggi colonies beyond the railway tracks.[1] Stability Information East 2 (talk) 04:17, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
