Same guy?

Franceschi-Delonne
[edit]According to Charles Oman, Jean Baptiste Marie Franceschi-Delonne led Marshal Soult's cavalry, was captured by Spanish guerillas and died in 1810 while in prison. He was a separate individual from this Jean Baptiste Franceschi who died in 1813 in Danzig. I mistakenly linked the current Franceschi to several of Soult's battles in the Peninsular War.
