I'll unfortunately need to quickfail this article per WP:GAFAIL #1 (it is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria). The article lacks the prose quality and breadth of coverage demanded at GA level. The article is quite sparse, with short sections consisting primarily of bare sports statistics. It's presented in an almost list-like fashion, with decontextualized prose acting as a highlight reel of the subject's sporting career without any sense of what this meant. The writing style is very choppy, with short, staccato sentences that tire the eye and detract from the content. Little editorial judgement is demonstrated in what to include and how to include it, as demonstrated by the blunt juxtaposition of His older brother, Darcell Kitchens, was murdered outside of a bar in Richland, Georgia, on January 9, 2005.[38] Jones signed an endorsement deal for Subway just days before he was drafted.[39] in the personal life section.
The nominator and primary contributor has not edited since 11 December, raising serious concerns about whether they would be able to return and conduct a full review. More concerningly, the nominator and primary contributor has the username "JarvisJones95", which raises what may be gently called conflict of interest concerns. As many of the nominator's edits have been to add positive content to the article, the article should probably be tagged for potential COI, which would add quickfail criterion #3 (it has, or needs, cleanup banners that are unquestionably still valid) to the reasons I don't believe a full review is appropriate at this time.
