Evacuation route
[edit]Was the town of Abuta actually evacuated during the 2000 eruption of Mount Usu? --Bernardoni (talk) 11:52, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Bernardoni: I'm unsure if the entire town was evacuated or not. This source says that most of the town was evacuated early on, with a few districts exempt from the order. As the eruptions continued, larger areas in other nearby towns and cities were ordered to evacuate, but I don't see anything explicitly stating that all of Abuta was put under the order. ❯❯❯ Mccunicano☕️ 02:56, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the answer! If part ot the town was evacuated, then certainly the phrasing in the article is correct. It would just have been interesting if there were serious issues with only that road being available. Greetings --Bernardoni (talk) 11:25, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
