A number of people are shifted in Pakistan, called as Mahar especially in Tehsil Alipur District Muzaffar Garh, Multan, Tehsil Jampur, Shah Jamal, Mailsi, Tulamba, Rajan Pur, Khan Pur, Rahim Yar Khan, Fateh Jang, Muzaffar Garh, Tehsil Kot Adu and in Sindh... As profession a huge strength are Agricultural.. Everyone of this caste is respected, well Educated..
