No offense intended but, how does this article pass the Notability criteria for Wikipedia? Also isn't it mainly self promotion? Jasynnash2 (talk) 11:58, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No offense taken, good point. Jamie Marsh starred in one of Neil Simon's most successful plays on Broadway. The only play that Neil Simon won a Pulitzer Prize for. If he had been in a Hollywood Movie that achieved that level of success you wouldn't be asking this question. Wikepedia recognizes achievement in theatre as well as film and television. Starring in a Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway play is more of an achievement than being a contestant on Survivor. No offense intended. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.225.119.254 (talk) 04:55, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Paid self promotion, per his comment on Reddit on September 27, 2020. reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/j0qlsh/iama_actor_named_jamie_marsh_and_i_played_ivan/g6w34hu/

...did you write a Wikipedia article about yourself?

Definitely NO WAY!!! No!!! I paid a publicist $536.73 to do it so I wouldn't have to suffer the unbearable humiliation of having to admit that I PROMOTED MYSELF. What an awful thing for a professional entertainer to do. That could Ritt Chaos in my life!!! Thank The Good Lord publicists are so reasonably priced. And I don't have to suffer that humiliation. You are such a nice person for pointing that out!! Did you delete the link to your wiki page? I thought you were going to post it?? Can you post the link again? Sorry to ask and bother you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.164.14.157 (talk) 01:26, 28 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No offense, it seems like Jamie Galen commented this on his OWN POST once again proving Wikipedia is not a credible source. To be rude when someone points out that this page is ENTIRELY self promotion and ENTIRELY ran by the actor himself, is just pointing out he is not following the rules everyone else has to. What was the need to be rude? It is not like he has done anything in 20 years, no offense right? 2600:1700:B20:6620:154A:7924:71B1:4C9F (talk) 05:20, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
