[edit]probably we should create another page for all the james watt medals other than the international one. For starters, however, it seems easiest to lump them all in one page. I made a REDIRECT from James Watt Medal to this page. Djcmackay 12:25, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I found another page referring to a J W Medal: http://www.famousamericans.net/thomassilver/ Not yet folded this in to the page. Djcmackay 16:38, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
By definition of the prestige of this medal recipients of the James Watt Medal will most likely have their own wikipedia page. Hence I'm adding links. Hopefully people can help correct the links if there's a misspelling. Ronank 21:58, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think the individual awards should really be separate pages. Simply having the same name does not make them the same topic. --Lquilter (talk) 16:25, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed, this article is a mess. Information about the medals awarded by the Civil and the Mechanical Engineers Institution are mixed all the time. At least split into sections, or even separate articles. --Tetris L (talk) 13:11, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
