Statement about commercial radio in Jamaica

[edit]

I'm doing the Ernest Ranglin article and during my research I came across a Google book (see Ranglin references) and it states that the first radio broadcast was a PBS service that was transmitted one night a week from November 1939 onwards. I imagine that it was sponsored by a commercial company and thats why the article here states the first radio stations as being commercial.
