Hi @Hippo43:, you have introduced very inconsistent reasoning in your edits. The source provided states that Visagie will join Gloucester (future tense, no specified date) and will then return (future tense, estimated, but no specified date). If the "cannot predict future, and specific date is unsourced" logic is introduced, then your other edit must also be removed. TheMightyPeanut (talk) 01:17, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm honestly confused. Do you think he is on loan to Gloucester or not? You changed the article when it was announced, then removed it to try to make a point to me, then added it again. I don't know what you're playing at sometimes. --hippo43 (talk) 11:24, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I absolutely think he is on loan ... and then returning. As mentioned above, you're the one that uses a source for one part of that, but not the other. TheMightyPeanut (talk) 01:35, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The source that says he is on loan says he is scheduled to return "in January", not on a specific date. And loans tend to change - players can get recalled early, or loans extended. We can't predict the future, and we don't do this in other articles.
Perhaps instead of fighting over trivia, you could add some info about his rugby career with the Bulls? Right now the article seems to imply he hasn't played any rugby since 2013. This is a serious suggestion - you obviously know about this stuff and could definitely improve the article so it would be useful to a reader. --hippo43 (talk) 10:49, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, he's scheduled to return "in January". So, by 31 January, he would have returned. Even if he returns on the 15th of January, he would have returned by the 31st. So, if no one corrects the information on the 15th, it will be corrected on the 31st, rather than remaining incorrect until someone picks up on it in 6 months' time. The same source also clearly lists him in their wider squad for the 2019 season. I would love to improve this article — and many more — but there are only so many hours in the day...
