Re: Ireland
[edit]The whole thing about his popularity in Ireland is, I believe, a hoax. When I originally researched it, the only information I discovered was on some blog, which is not a reliable source. I have, for now, moved it to a section at the bottom and tagged it as disputed. The current source cited is for a publication that may or may not even exist. I'll leave the information in for a while, and if someone can come up with something, please clarify. -Dewelar (talk) 16:54, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Intrigued by this "hoax," I decided to research it myself. It's a way out story that doesn't even appear slightly possible, but I decided to research it anyway. I couldn't find anything.--Johnny Spasm (talk) 10:36, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- I also have found no reliable sources of any kind that are available online to support these claims. As the only inkling of it is indeed a blog, I cannot, in good faith as an editor, accept an offline reference to a publication that doesn't seem to exist either. - If it helps any, I e-mailed Snopes.com the story.--Johnny Spasm (talk) 15:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
