It’s a Hit
[edit]The Greenwich, CT Boys Club topped the Elmont, NY Boys Club in what was the final episode of the show. White Sox pitcher, Billy Pierce, was the “manager” of the Greenwich team. NY Giants Sal Maggie “managed” the Elmont, Long Island team. Greenwich player Kevin Kavanagh, remembers his question for a single - “True or False, Paul Revere warned the British that the farmers were coming?” The trick pitch question was answered “false” and Kevin advanced to first base. Kevin’s Boys Club teammate Archie Rupp gave the funniest answer of the show when he was asked, “What two brothers were made famous at Kittyhawk?” Taking time to think Archie finally answered “the Hawk Brothers.” It was one of the all-time funniest answers ever on a TV show. Greenwich won the game and enjoyed a fun filled train ride from Grand Central Station to their hometown which is called “The Gateway to New England.” No tapes have been found of the short term series of Happy Felton’s “It’s a Hit.”@ 96.234.227.109 (talk) 04:40, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
